Job Description
Sofos Softwares is a digital business specializing in the development of apps and software. In addition to its core operations, Sofos Softwares oversees several sister companies operating in the SaaS and eCommerce sectors, such as iMartNepal, an e-commerce platform promoting eco-friendly, handmade Nepali products globally. This role will primarily focus on HR and business development tasks for Sofos Softwares, while also supporting the growth and expansion initiatives of its sister companies, including iMartNepal.
Responsibilities:
Human Resources (Sofos Softwares):
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and training processes to build a strong and motivated team.
- Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, productivity, and retention.
- Manage employee schedules, performance reviews, and day-to-day HR operations.
- Foster a positive work environment by promoting collaboration, integrity, and personal growth.
- Provide HR support for projects across Sofos Softwares’ portfolio.
Business Development :
- Assist in planning and executing strategies to drive revenue growth across Sofos Softwares and its sister companies, including eCommerce (e.g., iMartNepal) and SaaS ventures.
- Identify and pursue new opportunities, such as partnerships, collaborations, and untapped markets, to expand the reach of products and services.
- Support the launch and growth of new projects, including physical store setups, online workshops, and SaaS product rollouts.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to implement effective campaigns and initiatives tailored to target audiences for both eCommerce and SaaS platforms.
- Analyze sales performance, customer feedback, and market trends to identify areas for improvement and innovation.
- Explore and optimize revenue models for both eCommerce and SaaS businesses, ensuring scalability and sustainability.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in HR, business development, or a similar role.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in tools like Slack, Trello, Google Workspace, and WordPress.
- A proactive and positive attitude with a passion for growth and learning.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (WooCommerce) and Nepalese culture is a plus.
- 2-wheeler preferred.
